In February 2025, Jetlogistics welcomed a new Head of Unit to drive the business forward as Jorma Kivistö joined the team.

Jorma has an extensive background in logistics, dating back to 1989. He has experience from both sides of the table, having worked in sourcing on the industry side as well as in forwarding companies as a service provider. This dual perspective has given him a deep understanding of complex supply chains and the challenges that need to be tackled in logistics. Jorma began his career as a traffic operator in the Sea Freight department, and for the past 20 years, he has been involved in a wide range of projects within the industry.

Jorma was drawn to Jetlogistics by its diverse and compelling portfolio, as well as the opportunity to make a real impact. He also knew some of the people in the company, which gave him confidence in his decision. As part of the Wihuri Group—a globally recognised conglomerate with diverse business interests—Jetlogistics benefits from the group’s extensive resources, network, and financial stability. This affiliation further strengthens Jetlogistics’ ability to provide exceptional logistics services and creates significant opportunities for growth.

In his free time, Jorma enjoys spending time at his family’s summer house in Spain, hiking with his wife, and building cars in his garage with his son. These activities recharge him and give him the energy to approach his work with enthusiasm and lead Jetlogistics proactively.
